The Free and Dri Mat is a super soft and absorbent change mat made from fast drying microfibre with a beautifully soft waterproof section that pops over your baby so he/she can enjoy nappy free time without any little surprises for you!  Perfect to use also for baby massage, which is great for soothing and relaxing your baby.

Babies love nappy free time and it is recommended that babies have some nappy free time to help air and dry the skin and avoid nappy rash, but also to let them explore without the somewhat bulky nappies. However, it’s Murphy’s Law that your baby will pee or poop as soon as you take off their nappy and you are left with a nice mess!  Or if your baby is anything like mine, they wriggle and squirm and manage to get their bottom off whatever mat or cloth you’ve put down and then pee on the carpet!!

The Free and Dri Mat is a lovely soft mat that comes with a soft waterproof section that you can pop baby into so that they don’t roll or wiggle of the mat.  This is similar to a section of a bouncer that you put baby’s legs between.  It is a quite a big section so baby still has that ‘freedom’ feeling!  The waterproof nature of the pop in section is a great help in containing any accidents. The waterproof section has velcro tabs on each side (although not a scratchy velcro) to make it easy to put baby into and it also has 2 dome snaps to attach the section to the mat on each side making it easily removable to wash or if you prefer to use the mat on its own.  The Mat itself is made of the super fast drying microfibre material that feels lovely and soft for baby to lie on.  The mat is very absorbent and when our little ‘reviewer’ inevitably had a ‘wee’ accident, it was no big drama. The waterproof section also helped contain the mess that little boys make, as they tend to wee all over the place, unlike girls!

The Free and Dri Mat is also great for tummy time as babies often tend to spill a little when on their tummies and the absorbent mat makes it easy to clean up.

Another great use is for baby massage which I loved to do when baby is first out of the bath.  The mat is lovely and soft and almost doubles as a towel due to the microfibre material.
